Create your Avatar
Identify what product you want to sell and create the avatar that describes those who will need this product. For example, if you are interested in dog care, or veggies, then you need to come up with the specific customer avatar that describes those who will like a product or service related to this. For example, Veggies avatar might be called Veggie Nature, or Veggie lovers and for dogs, could be ‘dog lovers club’ or something like that, and it captures particular interests.

Identify their location and infiltrate
Next you figure out exactly where these avatar already hang out. Where they already have conversation and share ideas. The perfect place to begin will be Facebook groups. This is the right place to begin because when you use the Facebook search feature to look for groups with the exact customer avatar to what you want to sell, you will most likely see a ton of them. If you type right now for example ‘dog lovers’ or Veggie growers, you will come across groups on Facebook with large number of individuals.
An added secret to this secret is that look for the the group with large number and that the group is active; you will know this by the number of posts per day and by the time of the last post. You don’t want to be in the group where the last post is 6 months or 12 months ago. Even if the group has 1 million members, it is not a viable prospecting environment.

Make the Connection With Prospects
From the active Facebook group, you will now have to look for the most active posts. You will know this by look at the posts with the most comments, likes, shares etc. You will then begin to add those contacts as friends. Make sure you don’t add all at once just few at a time to avoid flagging your account as spam.
